While it may seem like being at home in quarantine has forced us to slow down and focus on self-care, many of us could use a little inspiration to actually make it happen. Try creating an at home yoga retreat with us. Start with a morning slow flow to energize the body and end with a gentle stretch to set yourself up for a restful sleep. Follow our simple tips to create a serene space and feel free to add your own special touches to make your day extra delicious.

Soothing Space: Find a space that is clean, quiet and free from distractions. This may be at home or in a natural setting. Aside from these basics, you can add special touches such as fresh flowers, candles, and incense to purify the environment. You may also add some calming music and uplifting pictures, statues or symbols on a table to meditate on. The most important thing is that your space helps to transport you to a peaceful place within yourself.

Quiet Your Devices: Take a digital detox. Turn off notifications and put your devices away to help you unplug, unwind and relax.

Healthy Meal: The day before your retreat, plan healthy meals for the day. Try to add nourishing foods that are in season and drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Journal: Even if you don't love to write, try investing just a few moments after your yoga or meditation practice to jot down your observations and experiences. Journaling is a wonderful tool to document your growth and get the most out of your practice.
